Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and model who is now a retired actor. Elson's career began as a child actor, and model. However, she is most well-known for playing Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea tried out for the part as Lynn Tanner of the ALF successful series (1986). Andrea was on the show for a number of years in various TV series and Movies of the week before she decided to retire from the entertainment industry. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen child of Kate the actress and Willie. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of an audience that viewed sitcoms was a challenge. Green-eyed Elson was born New York City on March 6th, 1969. Elson grew up to become a traveling actress due to her father's job as an executive in advertising. When she reached 10-years-old Andrea was already a traveler in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea got her agent while in San Diego, where she was the first to win a part that she tried out for. Fusco supported the idea by saying, "ALF can drink beer since he's older than 285." In the years when ALF began to be increasingly popular, NBC said that Fusco could no longer have ALF drinking alcohol with the kids. This was a negative image of a role of a model. Fusco believes that ALF had the maturity to drink and drive, wasn't right. In 1995, he was diagnosed to have the lymphoma. This cancer was removed successfully, and he remained in full remission for the rest of his life. The cancer died on June 26, 2019 aged 75, at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
