SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) was professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was previously an actress and model. She was the lead character Carmen on The L Word, Kate Reed on the legal drama on USA Network Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS' crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). Also, she has been in the role of in the drama Det. Dani Reese is a character in the show Life[3] as well as Alias. She was a part of Reverie, a 2018 series. She was a recurring character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5]. She also appeared in seven episodes on The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. In the set, she was invited by Altman to move to Hollywood and was offered roles on Alias and Dawson's Creek. She was in the second season's support role for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as seen on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's contract for two years was ended following the fourth season. Her character was eliminated from the show.
